The tutorials
Since years the LinuxDays Luxembourg propose high quality tutorials to the participants.
The morning sessions, going from 9:00 to 15:00, are reserved for tutorials related to GNU/Linux and Open Source. Tutorials for beginners, more advanced users and for developers will be included. This years' tutorial session spans a full 3 days, so tutors may offer tutorials with a length of either one, two or three days. Only English abstracts (250-500 words), including a title, the name(s), the biographies and e-mail address(es) of the author(s) will be accepted.
If you are interested in proposing a tutorial for the 2007 edition please fill out the following webform.
The presentations
The free conference track will take place in the afternoon session from 15:00 to 18:00. Every presentation is limited to 50 minutes, including time for questions and discussion. The aim of the conference track is to increase knowledge and improve the general understanding of the Free Software, Open Source and GNU/Linux community. We are thus looking for high quality submissions to populate this track. Keeping up with LinuxDays Luxembourg tradition, we will give preference to work that:
explores new territory,
comes from community project members directly involved in development,
gives a good overview of broader fields of general interest,
introduces new users to important techniques in an understandable way,
discusses the legal, ethical, social or economic impact of Free and Open Source Software
Rem: if you need some extra time for a complex topic or a workshop, please contact the conference chairs for an individual solution. Please mention the required time in your abstract.
If you are interested in proposing a presentation or conference for the 2007 edition please fill out the following webform.

In parallel to the conference, there will be an exhibition area where Open Source & Free Software projects as well as commercial companies have the opportunity to present their GNU/Linux based products and services to the public.
An exhibition booth is about 6m2 (3mx2m). The booth includes 1 table 2 chairs, 1 Ethernet (RJ45) connection to the Internet, 220V 16A electricity plug.
